A steel tongue drum is a round hollow body made of steel. There are oscillating cutouts (tongues) on the surface, which are tonally coordinated (scale system) and whose sound is amplified by the sound box. The drums are very melodic and are known for their relaxing sounds and lightness of play, which does not require any special technique.
